Background

Simhadri, who has recently shifted to Gurgaon is finding it difficult to settle himself in the bustling heart of the city, everyone is engaged in its vibrant life, where people are often caught up in the fast-paced rhythm, which can lead to significant stress and anxiety. Where the city begs him to react to its demands and incidents.

Lately, he has been exhausted and has gone through numerous sleepless nights and anxious thoughts. To overcome this, he tries to go beyond the hustle and bustle and search for the quieter side of city life, characterized by peace and stillness. He finds that little smile clicking pictures, so he picks up his camera to search for the opposite side of this bustling city.

Prompt

The prompt for photography is “The Quiet Side”. You have to capture a picture showcasing your interpretation of the line.

Guidelines

• Basic editing is allowed, but you must submit both the edited and unedited images.
• Upload the image (2 in case any editing is done) as a file on Google Drive and upload the drive link in the form provided.
• Make sure that access to the image through the link is provided. Your image will not be assessed in case the image is inaccessible.

Rules

Violation of any of these rules will result in an immediate disqualification.

• Plagiarism is strictly prohibited, and pictures sent should be completely original.
• The picture can be clicked either through a DSLR or any standard smartphone.
• The picture should be clicked in Manual/Pro mode only. A picture clicked in Auto mode would be instantly disqualified.
• Photos must be clicked keeping decency in mind.
• There must be no watermark or signature on the submission picture.
• The picture should be clicked within the submission window itself (between 22nd May 2024 and 27th May 2024 only). Images clicked before the prompt release are unacceptable.
